Welcome to Nonatomusic. By booking or attending any private lesson, workshop, or online session with Nonato (“Instructor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), or by joining any Patreon membership tier, you (“Student,” “Patron,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before enrolling or subscribing.

1. Services

We offer:

One-on-one guitar lessons and home-studio music production via in-person or online formats.
Recurring membership content and perks through our Patreon page.

All lesson content and Patreon materials are tailored to your skill level, musical interests, and selected tier.

2. Registration & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to register, book lessons, or subscribe on Patreon.
Provide accurate contact, billing, and technical details when signing up.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account(s) and for all activity under them.

3. Booking & Scheduling

Lessons are booked through our online portal, direct email, or Patreon messages (for Student tier members).
Confirm lesson dates and times at least 48 hours in advance.
We reserve the right to decline or reschedule bookings due to Instructor unavailability or unforeseen circumstances.

4. Fees & Payment

Lesson packages and Patreon tiers are detailed on our Pricing page and Patreon site.
Payments for lesson packages are due in full before the first scheduled lesson.
Patreon subscription fees are charged monthly through Patreon’s platform.
Accepted payment methods: credit/debit cards, PayPal, Venmo (for lessons); Patreon handles payments for membership tiers.
All fees are in U.S. dollars. You are responsible for any currency conversion fees.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

5.1 Lessons

Cancel or reschedule lessons up to 24 hours before start time without penalty.
Late cancellations (within 24 hours) or no-shows forfeit that lesson’s fee.
Lesson packages expire six months from purchase; unused lessons after this period are non-refundable.

5.2 Patreon Membership

Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis via Patreon.
You may cancel or downgrade at any time through your Patreon account settings.
No prorated refunds or credits are provided for partial-period cancellations.
Access to tier benefits continues until the end of the paid period.

6. Patreon Membership Terms

Tier Descriptions & Perks: All Patreon tier offerings (e.g., mini-lessons, backing tracks, live Q&A, feedback) are subject to change at our discretion. Notification of material changes will be communicated to patrons.
Content Rights: All content delivered through Patreon is the intellectual property of the Instructor. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use this content for personal, educational purposes only.
No Guarantees: Patreon membership does not guarantee availability of one-on-one lesson slots or specific individual feedback beyond described perks.
Community Conduct: Patrons agree to engage respectfully in any group calls, chat channels, or comment threads. Harassment or abuse may result in removal from patron-only spaces.

7. Code of Conduct

Maintain respectful, professional communication at all times.
Use of offensive language, harassment, or discrimination will result in immediate termination of services or Patreon membership without refund.
Lessons and membership materials are for lawful, educational, and personal development use only.

8. Technical Requirements

For online lessons you must provide:

Reliable high-speed internet
Webcam or smartphone with video capability
Headphones or earbuds (especially for production lessons)
A guitar or instrument in good working condition
A compatible DAW (as agreed during onboarding)

Failure to meet requirements may shorten or necessitate rescheduling sessions.

9. Intellectual Property

All lesson materials, arrangements, backing tracks, recordings, and Patreon content remain the intellectual property of Leandro Nonato.
You are granted a personal, non-commercial license to use these materials.
Unauthorized distribution, resale, or public performance is prohibited and may result in legal action.

10. Confidentiality & Privacy

We respect your privacy. Personal, technical, and billing information is handled per our Privacy Policy.
Lesson recordings, feedback reports, and Patreon communications remain private unless you grant permission for wider sharing.

11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Services are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind.
We do not guarantee specific performance outcomes, earnings, or creative success.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Instructor’s total liability for any claim related to services shall not exceed the amounts you have paid for lessons or Patreon subscriptions in the three months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate services or Patreon membership at any time with written notice.
Outstanding lesson fees and Patreon subscription charges remain due and payable.
Provisions intended to survive termination (e.g., Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability) will continue in effect.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Published revisions replace earlier versions. Continued use or subscription after changes indicates your acceptance.
